Seahawks Win, Vikings Blow FG to Lose

Vikings kicker Blair Walsh had been accurate all game, hitting three field goals during the frozen game. All Walsh had to do was make a 27-yarder with 26 seconds left to advance the Vikings to the divisional round of the playoffs.  He missed.

After Blair Walsh missed a 27-yard field-goal try with 26 seconds to play, the Vikings were left to come to grips with a heartbreaking playoff loss. “It crushed our dreams,” cornerback Captain Munnerlyn said.
