The Vegas Golden Knights defeated the Edmonton Oilers 5-2 in Game 6 Sunday night at Rogers Place to advance to the Western Conference Final. The Golden Knights are heading to the third round for the fourth time since they joined the league in 2017-18.

Jonathan Marchessault scored three consecutive goals in the second period, helping the Golden Knights rally after Edmonton had taken a 2-1 first-period lead on goals by Connor McDavid and Warren Foegele. Reilly Smith and William Karlsson also scored for the Golden Knights, while goaltender Adin Hill made 39 saves for the victory.

The Golden Knights will have home-ice advantage against the winner of the series between the Dallas Stars and Seattle Kraken, who play Game 7 on Monday night in Dallas.
